According to Rule 8 in the forum rules:

8. No bumping your own thread unnecessarily

The key to the rule is the last word in the sentence "unnecessarily". I waited over two months from the time the original request went in to follow up and then another 3 weeks from my post. Perhaps I misinterpreted the rule's intent, but I would suggest that I'm being very patient and was just quietly asking for a little love.

If any bumping is against the rules, I apologize... but then get rid of the word "unnecessarily"!

Bumping won't give you an answer, after the Nth bump, if there was none at the first post. (That's my personal experience on this board.) So, yes, it is unnecessary.

And, yes, the forum rules need to be refined, too.
