Ever tried to burn the image with Alcohol and RMPS enabled?
This worked for me... look at my other thread "How to backup Empire at War". Greetz, Thomas Posso |

I cannot get it to run! Tried everything! Even with org. DVD the fu***** Software tells I have to deactivate Emulation Software . . . . Any idea? I have Alc 120 installed! Do I need also Daemon 4 or is here anyone who get it to run with Alc only?
Thanks for help! Sascha |

D-Tools and CureROM
Hey,
Thanks all. I got this game from Best Buy (DVD version), but it wouldn't play because I had Alcohol installed, which I use for archiving. I didn't need to uninstall Alcohol, but using CureRom 3.1, setting the sweaw file to Windows 2000 compatibility, and loading the image in D-Tools 403 (no emulation options, or RPMS only) instead of Alcohol (which was unloaded) resulted in the image eventually loading, though it took a minute. With the original dvd, it still took longer than it should, 30 sec or so, but I'm willing to live with that. EDIT: After more testing, I was able to reduce loading times to normal (ie, 5-10 secs) with both original dvd and image by first starting CureRom in Lite-Mode, with blacklisting enabled. Then, with the image already loaded, I selected all emulation options (for some reason, just RPMS or RPMS and Securom don't work). I just clicked the shortcut created by the original install. This worked every time I tried it. (BTW, Alcohol is still unloaded). Last edited by fatdog789; 21-02-2006 at 21:50. |

Hey everyone,
I can't get the game to work, using DT4, curerom1.3b. I have tried every technique, and to no avail. I always get "original disk can not be authenticated". Does this mean I have a bad image file? Also, I got the game to run, once, when I first installed it. I made a curerom profile, ran without mounting, and when I got "insert cd/dvd" i mounted, and hit retry, and it ran perfectliy. This only worked one time, and now it won't. Why is that? Thanks for the help. |

Yep, it's working. Create a good image with alcohol, use Daemon tools and the newest curerom 1.3.0b from cd media world. In alcohol i would recommend slow dpm and emulation rmps and safedisc. Worked well for me
Good luck.

It is really shit - If I try to make an Image, the "List" of Protection goes away! If try to make an Image of another DVD I have not this "feature". I use Alcohol 120, latest version. Does it depend on my DVD Burner? It is a Toshiba DL with LS . . . .
I hate this game. No way to get the image working and the org DVD detects the "Virtual Drives" . . . So it seems I have to wait for a working Mini / Maxi Image - and the best: I can´t give it return - I have opened the box . . . I really love MediaMarkt ![]() PS Maybe I am numb! How do you make an Image with SecureRom option with this DVD???? Everytime I put the DVD into my drive, this functions are blown away . . . Do I need another helper tool? By the way - I have the german DVD version with an extra bonus DVD. So please - what I am doing wrong? Last edited by 0_0_7; 18-02-2006 at 10:55. |

I dont believe in a working Mini Image - there are different ways to post it, perhaps at www.rapidshare.com or something like that.
I asked myself yesterday for a PM and I got a link to a full version download - that was not what I was looking for Another link was to a newsgroup, which I cannot join Because of the problems I have to get it even from the original DVD to run, I will try to bring this crappy tile back to the store . . . . Greetings, 007 |

@darthmarc: If you're so busy that you don't have time to search for cracks yourself, spend some money to hire someone to find them for you. However, when you get a service for free, be grateful for it and stop bitching!
[Edit] Oh, and if you're looking for a CD key, too, get the box of your original CD/DVD. Also, read the forum rules!
