Thanks for the quick responses, and you're right
 , but now I have a new problem. I bet this has occured before, but at about the 30th bar of the checking disk sequence, Starforce stops responding and the computer essentially locks up, though I can start it up again by ejecting the drive. Any ideas on what could be wrong, or how I could fix it?
