I'd say that's exactly why they did it.

Looking at the DVD, I'd say that pop3.zvz is the cause - it's 2.5GB, so it accounts for the difference between the 1.5GB game and the 4GB disc, and there's probably nothing in there except for a few kb of copy protection info so it'll compress to virtually nothing.

SF titles must have a certain minimum size to ensure the physical check can be performed; therefore you will find dummy files on most SF media

P.S. First 3.7 titles don't have ISO check so for the moment MI's are possible again
