Arrow

No-DVD doesn't work. But if you have a good data-part of the alcohol image (mdf-file) try to exchange your mds-file(!) with the one from that great swiss site copybase. Works perfectly for me!!! Just mount the image in Deamon 4.03 and start the game. You don't even need sfcure to run the game.
That method also works with any other SF-protected game. You just need a complete and good .mdf and the right .mds for your image

And by the way:

That reminds me, how do I download the mds from that site? All I get from that site is the description of the file protection

Talking How to download mds from copybase:

visit copybase.ch and search your game in the Database (Datenbank).
Then click the linked name of the game to view the protection details. In the upper right corner of that details-box you find a link called "DPM-Dateien". The available mds-files for the requested game are listed right under the details-box when you follow that link. Now just search your Version (language) and download the mds-file with the physical disc information (DPM-data).
Most of the mds-files posted there work great for me when I mount em in Deamon 4.03 with RMPS-Emulation enabled.
In some rare cases the optical IDE-drives of your system don't work very well with the StarForce-Protection drivers. So, if the game still wants you to "put your CD/DVD into another drive" you have to unhook your optical drives manualy for the game images to work.
Hope that helps a little

I think this is supposed to be some kind of a joke. this is not a fix exe it is the original file. just check the size of the file 5,385,728 bytes the same as the original one so dont waste your time on this

You create your own image from your own original discs!
A good mds file can be downloaded from 'copybase.ch'. You then combine this mds with your own 'mdf' that you created.
Rename the mds so it is the same as your mdf.
