Starforcing me to insanity!!!

OK I have about had enough of Starforce. I cannot get SF games to run on my system at all. It is driving me nuts!

I have tried out King Kong and Worms 4 so far. I cannot get either to work. I hear King Kong was a short game but I wanted to try b4 I buy... And see if it is really as cool as the reviews say.

Needless to say I have failed on all attempts. My results in Worms 4 are much the same.

I have installed it with only a SATA Hard drive attached and used DT 4 emulation on and off
I tried a ATA card with my IDE DVD
I tried to put the IDE DVD on the board and use SF Nightmare
I have gone out and purchased a Plextor SATA dvd drive and eliminated all IDE devices
I have tried all of these configs using SF Nightmare also "NODE - CD - NODE"
I also went into the bios and turned everything except the SATA to NONE
I tried so many things I cannot remember!

Still cannot get it to work. It tells me that the Key doesn't match the disk. In talking with a friend who runs his SF games with his SATA Hard drive and his SATA plextor dvd that all work fine and he seems to feel that my issue might be Bios related. I was going to take pics of my BIOS but that would take forever so I dug up the link to the manual....

took me 2 tries to get it to come up

http://america.giga-byte.com/MotherB...8n51gmf9_e.pdf

If the link is not allowed and gets removed then go to giga-byte website and look up the manual for K8N51GMF-9 and tell me what you think. I have wasted over 30 hours trying to get this to work and spent way more money than I should have. Please let me in on any suggestions you have.

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps, you could've reduced the 30 hours to 30 minutes, had you read the FAQ...

Well I wasn't trying to bump my post... I am really suprised that nobody replied. And yeah I read the forums and read the FAQ. Unfortunately there wasn't anything supporting my case in there. That is why I was thinking that there was a possible mobo issue. I have been unsuccessful at getting anything to work so.... I figured I would ask here and provide my bios info. BUT Like I thought all this does is attract unhelpful flamers to come in and smart off. I would rather you not reply if you are gonna be a lame ass flamer. You know we are a community trying to work for one goal. Then there are the flamers that only work to make their lame asses sound cool. What is better is that you probably cannot even think of what is causing the issue in the first place... so you say check the faq. well FAQ you! Muther FAQer. Geez. chill. And no I dont want to join your -=clan=- And for those who actually try to help thanks!

Maybe... Just maybe you would have more success if you were actually capable of being polite, and had a little more tolerance, and actually bought the game... I suggest you don't waste time here any more waiting for a reply.

Both are moderators and its their job to say that to you.

Now, since you havent tried the demo, I can only assume you have used warez versions, which is not supported here. Even using a friends original is not supported here.

If your system is really anti-starforce then the best place to get the help you need is from starforce themselves so that way when they have your system specs they can work around it.
