Both are not protected and CloneCD is not a good program to use for backing up non-protected games.
Why have you even bothered to use something like ISO Producer? All you need do is backup your originals using the trial version of Goldenhawk's CDRWin (This program was expressly created to backup PSX games, leave ALL the installed defaults as they are when the program is installed) |

Clone CD and Alcohol 120% are also very good alternative but remember CD->IMAGE->CD with one app not with some sht like Iso Producer

You also may want to try different media, I dont know about you guys but the last Sony cd-r's i tried were crap. In the old days they were one of the better cd-r's but seem to be of lesser quality now. Try some Verbatim data life plus CD-R's.
