WinRAR and WinACE are nothing more than archiver or compression programs. They will take the RAR or ACE files you've downloaded and extract the contents from them.

WinACE and WinRAR are just like WinZIP only using a different compression scheme. Just like WinZIP doesn't make CDI files, neither will WinRAR or WinACE.

Frankly, the suggestion that you thought a compression program could make a CD disc image is quite absurd, if you ask me.

Upon re-reading your message, I think I understand what you were ***TRYING*** to ask, although you didn't really.

I don't believe WinRAR will process ACE files, nor will WinACE process RAR files.

If you have RAR files, use WinRAR. If you have ACE files, use WinACE.
