What you downloaded was only a patch.

The average *GAME* archive consists of 20+ sequentially numbered .RAR files (.rar, .r00, .r01 -or- .001, .002, .003), and each of the 20+ files is going to be 15-20 meg in size!

A patch is *TINY* compared to the size of a game, and if you receive an .NFO file in the package - read the thing with a text editor. You'll discover the error you have made.

What you mentioned in the message was *OBVIOUSLY* nothing more than a P A T C H for the game you're looking for. Notice the name contains the word "FIX". Also the only useful file in the archive was a .PPF file (which is the patch).

Now, unless you have a broadband connection, you ought to give up your attempt to download the game. By the time you got the first segment of the archive, downloading at 56kbps, the other segments would probably have scrolled off the site (newsgroups). It will take you more than 24 hours of diligent downloading to get even the simplest game at 56kbps.
