Yeah - publishers will usually replace the game free of charge - all you need to do is send the pieces back, along with your proof-of-purchase (i.e. Receipt from where you purchased it from). Downloaded ISOs are also reknowned for not working, so its no suprise really
 If you do as above though, you should be fine and you should be able to get your disc changed fairly easily

Ok publishers will replace games, so why did i pay for a mod chip fitting?
infact why the f**k does anyone have mod chips fitted? If you damage your disk just get it swaped. PS still wating for replacement game?

The inconvenience of having to send these discs back etc... plus all the extra features we can get from mods (forcing video modes, region free, import abilities etc and snazzy homebrew we can get hold of these days
