Firstly you need to be able to copy in raw mode and I don't think there are any DVD burners that can do that.
Secondly Nero is a piece of garbage and is only used by those who think that overbloated software will actually do anything. The best programs for copying PSX games are, in order, Alcohol120%, CloneCD and Goldenhawk's CDRWin. Depending on the type of protection used you may need to apply a patch to the image in which case the preferred copying software is CDRWin for the simple reason that all PSX patches were written to be applied to CDRWin's .bin file format. Patches can be found at megagames. |

Yep, with Nero you can backup backup
with scratched audio tracks. I prefer Nero 5 series then 6 or 7. The best version of Nero to backup PSX games is 5.5.10.X or 5.5.9.X.

I never liked Nero for games, It is capable of making a loadable PSX backup sometimes but then again so can Easy Cd Creator
. It is not near as dependable as Alcohol, Clonecd or Cdrwin. To use Alcohol or CloneCd correctly your burner must be capable of reading and writing RAW DAO96 data. A few dvd burners support this but not many. In some cases even when using a 100% supported burner you will still have to patch. If this is the case then CDRWIN is the prefered software to use as stated in Sidneys post.
