Download the DC Self-Booting VCD Maker
####://www.megagames.com/dc/dc_utils.shtml It has very simple instructions on how to make VCds. I just tried it and the VCD is self bootable. Works great. Also the quality seems better than that stupid comercial VCD player. Also GypPlay played the movie nice and smooth unlike the comercial VCD player that run it like there were frames missing in the movie. Out of sync However I notice in GypPlay sometimes gets some garbage in the screen when going to a new scene or just whenever. It just happens for a sec and then the image looks good. Anyone knows how to fix this? Perhaps I need to use TMPGEnc on the Mpeg first and make sure I make it NTSC VCD compatible. The Mpeg I used was 352x288. I think this is PAL res and probably had pal settings for everything. But other than that it plays awesome on GypPlay. |

Yo, there is a good faq for dreamcast vcd's on www.dcemulation.com. That was how I burned my first vcd and it never fails for me! Good luck on your burning!
