Or alternatively, just use mini-image found at Game Copy World. It works for all Civ4 versions (1.00/1.09/1.52)

Surely if a mini image works then a complete image should as well. I have a complete iso, but it still asks for the cd to be inserted when i try to run it with the image mounted in Daemon.

Like P22 said, maybe he made it from the original for backup purposes. I did that with BF42 so I wouldn't need to put the CD in the drive each time.

iso doesnt mean .iso file. It can mean any image. Its a generic word.

I updated to the v1.52 Patch. Downloaded the image from gamecopyworld. Downloaded Daemon Tools. Installed it and turned on all emulations and mounted the image. Then played the game fine.

But I don't think iso format is good enough for avoiding protection.
