Speed!
Some people said that you have to write at the lowest speed.

Writing at 1x times may help, I usually write at 8x but I would say that everyone or at least most people are running the game by mounting the image file in DT4, that's what I've been doing.
Actually if the first image I make doesn't work I then make 4 or 5 more all at different speeds and try each one untill I find one that works, its a pain in the arse but it works (most times) and for DVD's I use different settings as well. Like I check both Skip Read errors and Data Pos Measurement (at different speeds), then I'll check one and not the other on next image, then don't check any on the next image an so on. I usually have 4 different settings which I use every time I copy a game and name each image I make filename1, filename2 and so on up to 4 and when one finally works I know by the number 1, 2, 3 or 4 in the image name which settings it was that worked. Anyway as I said it is a pain in the arse but if you try this it should work eventually, I've had my Madden going since the day I bought it. I hope this helps anyway, good luck buddy. See ya! |

Sorry WardoggOne, I was trying to find my copy of Madden 06, I was going to check the copy protection and then make another copy and let you know what settings to use, BUT, I could only find discs 2 & 3.
I have literally hundreds of play discs around here but as I don't use them very often occassionally some get misplaced. Anyway, yes thats what I meant. Just use the image making Wizzard (In Alcohol) and save the image to your hard drive. I'm sure it's SafeDisc 4 protected so you may have to use sd4hide, actually I think even anti-blah works even though it's a securom 7 hider. I use a combination of a few things, Virtual CD hide, Anti-Blah, sd4hide, SR7,Stop_v1.2 and securom_7_burner load. Just download a couple of these and try them out, as I said you'd be suprised which ones work for different protections than they were designed for. Also when you use these hiders don't leave them open when running the game. Once you activate them either close the program and the folder you have it in and if it has a icon on the task bar like Virtual CD hide then just right click on the icon and hit exit. Once activated DON'T leave any of them running! A lot of games won't run with them open on the desktop or on the taskbar. Anyway if you have to just make a couple of image files at different speeds and see how you go, I'm sure that I made mine using the default Safedisc 2/3 settings but I used 8x to read the image. I hope you get it working, so good luck. Sorry I took so long. |
