All you need is love.... and Daemon Tools
How to install and play Stubbs the Zombie - Rebel without a pulse
1) Install the latest version of Daemon Tools from the official website at http://www.daemon-tools.cc. This may require a reboot before you can use the application. 2) Mount the first image in Daemon Tools and click on "Install" when prompted. 3) Unmount and change the images in Daemon Tools as required, until it has completed the install. 4) Once install is complete, right click on "My Computer" and go to "Manage", then "Device Manager" under "System Tools" 5) Click on "DVD/CD-ROM drives" and once open, right click on any IDE devices you have, and "Disable" the devices. Don't disable the SCSI CdRom Device, as this is used by Daemon Tools 6) Ensure that you only have one device enabled in Daemon Tools, and then mount CD1. 7) Click "Play" |

From SecuROM 7 CDs you can make a good Mountable/Writable CloneImage
WITH Blindwrite (or Alcohol, but USE SECUROM NEW instead of any other SecuROM setting), only CD#1 need to be Backuped/Cloned TO PLAY without your Original Media. Simple MOUNT on DT4 (EMULATION -> ALL OPTIONS ON) USE SFNightmare DISABLE CD (+DISABLE NODE if needed becouse of the latest S7 was IDE priority like Starforce 3-3.4 protections) OR Mount CD#1 in DT4 and use SR7.STOP v1.2 with HIDE function. Maybe SECUROM7 Burner Loader works (that works ONLY on my Laptop), but select STUBBS.EXE from the installed directory. |

I posted 2 methods before, ANY of 'em WORKS!
Also try to SET the WIN2000 Compatible for STUBBS.EXE before start playing. (if you hate using your ORIGINAL Media )

"Mount CD#1 in DT4 and use SR7.STOP v1.2 with HIDE function."
I did this and it worked perfectly. I did not try any other idea since this one sounded like the least problamatic. I am on a laptop so removing cables and crap is totally retarded. All I did was install the latest version of Daemon Tools which is 4.00HE. Mounted CD1 and began installation and followed thru with all the cds. Then I mounted CD1 in DT and then ran SR7.Stop and clicked on Hide. Double clicked on the Stubbs icon on the desktop and it ran flawlessly. Moldavia |

That worked like a charm.
But was wondering if anyone elsae was having a problem w/ the graphics. For the most part I just get a white screen, & you can hear music playing. |

I have got the same problem like wormbaby... also done the same way moldavia did it...
"Please insert the original disc in drive <drive letter>: SecuROM 7.x has found a completely unrelated CD/DVD in one of your real IDE CD/DVD-ROM drives. Remove the CD/DVD so that the copy protection will check the emulated CD/DVD drives instead." I dont have no CD/DVD in one of my real devices, only three images on hdd... but i only get the Fu** message >_< Wanna play a nice game in my holidays. Please help
