Do you enjoy calling people idiots etc, do remember this forum has rules and one of them is no flaming.
Anyways, as ive said ive seen it with my own eyes. Unless the guy himself hacked his own sword design into the system, which I totaly doubt. Not posting the swordmandship wording? I do believe its in the manual also. So what your saying is, once you get a certain req level theres no point getting higher? Why then do I do more dmg with my sword with a higher req? You havent really answered those questions yet have you. |

YOU SAID IN YOUR OWN POST THAT AT EQUAL SWORDMANSHIP A REQ 12 WILL DO MORE THEN A REQ 7 AND A REQ 12 IS OBVIOUSLY BETTER, LMAO. Look nooblet, login into guild wars and play the damn game and LEARN something instead of arguing about something that you have no idea about. For the love of god, THERE IS NO 40HP STANCE SWORD. Get over the fact it doesnt exist, no your friend didnt hack the game and make it, its not possible to. You were just drunk or high, or even both when he showed you the sword. Please post a screenshot with the 40hp stance, 30hp always sword, if not then stop posting useless replys. Show me where it says at Swordmanship 16 a req 12 will do more then a req 7. No you cant prove those things because they are totally made up. Thanks for wasting my time arguing over something you were drunk when doing.

Again do read the rules here about flaming.
I will have to catch the guy again, hes on my friends list, and ill try get that trade screenshot. Why havent you described the swordmanship wording, you know highlight swordmanship on the skill points page, i.e. press H. And if YOU read what I said, I said he could have hacked it, but I said I doubted that. I am only replying on what ive seen, sure ive not been in GW aslong as you but that doesnt mean I dont understand GW, maybe not as much as other people, but I have noticed the dmg difference at different req level's. Ive tested that myself. As for the sword, im only saying about what ive seen, and no I dont drink or do drugs. But im not ruling out the possibility there is that bonus for swords, as it is available for hammers (I have one which gives me +25 health in a stance). Again and this only advice so take as you will, dont resort to petty name calling its flaming and again as ive said against rules here. Do please read them. |

just to clarify since the guy couldnt..
from manual on Warrior page Swordmanship - Swordmanship increases basic sword damage as well as damage dealt by sword skills. So therefore, more damage no matter the max dmg shown on the sword. So he is wrong. |

You are indeed an idiot, your the type that has to run to your "pals" and have to tell them what someone else said in a quest to make yourself look bad.
When your talking about Req your ARE talking about the swordmanship when it comes to a sword, as its the level of swordmanship that would allow you or not to use the sword fully. And if you READ the threads, you would have seen swordmanship WAS talked about. Dont sit there and try to be clever it doesnt work, I asked you a few times to say what swordmanship said, as you said it doesnt matter you would only do the max damage the sword had when I said more swordmanship better damage, but no you said no and was adamant about it. So take your own advice and READ through the posts and not read what you THINK you read. Oh and you also SAID, that health+ bonuses while in stance only are on shields, your wrong there also. Http://www.vwaskar.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/fun/gw002.jpg As you can see I have a low level 5 Ebon Hammer, its great for its health bonuses, Until I find something better. Avg damage I do with this (since im at Sanctum Cay) is about 40dmg with 12 Hammer skill, some monsters take more dmg than the White Mantel guys so I used an avg dmg amount. I wonder if you gave them the link to this thread also, instead of just telling them what was said, since your intepretation leaves alot to be desired. |

ok...gonna try and clear this up
the higher the swordsmanship, the larger the damage you do, no matter what req on the weapon, but having a req 7 sword means you can do the 15-22 damage earlier then you could on a req 12, so you can spend points else-where...you do not do more damage on a req 12, you just think you do, but no..you don't, if you used a req 7 and a req 12 sword at 16 swordsmanship, they would do exactly the same damage, as long as they had exactly the same mods on them... |

OK I just couldn't resist to drop a message here.
DABhand, you posted a message that said that weapons with higher a higher req. were better than weapons with lower req. If your skill in the weapon mastery is less than the req. on the weapon you will do much less damage. If your skill in the weapon mastery is equal or higher than the req. you will do normal damage. The higher your weapon mastery goes the more damage you do, independent of the requirement on the weapon. Kassad didn't post the "swordsmanship wording" because it's silly, everybody knows what swordsmanship does... Quote:
I don't know about that hammer you posted, looks like a quest reward to me but I'm not sure. Edit: ah Grim Weeper beat me to it. |
