FIFA 2001 is an EA game and needs to be patched to allow it to be swapped via the "EA Boot Process" described in the various tutorials (like on ####://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk )
The whole EA Patching scene (there is a dedicated website ####://www.eapatcher.com ) is a special process for protected games. So far as I know, Fifa 2001 is not protected but I'm not sure. Best thing with EA games is to use CloneCD with a compatible burner. No patching needed then with NEO2.x and OrigaChip.
