I already have enough money for mobo/processor.
Or which of these two is better? Intel 3.0GHz or the Athlon64 3000(2.0GHz) or is the performance between the two minimal? |

AMD is always best for gaming and it has been proven with various benchmarks.
Look on the net for comparison charts

If you buy the Mobo/cpu, you'll find your graphics card is the limiting factor in 99% of the games you play, and will have to stick with an AGP board nessesitaing a further mobo upgrade when you come to change the card.
If you buy the card, you'll find the CPU is the limiting factor in 99% of games you play, and will be stuck with buying an AGP board when you come to the cpu/mobo in order to keep the card. You would be far better off waiting till you can afford both a new PCI-E Gfx card and a S939 PCI-E motherboard/CPU combo |
