Are you an MSCE? is anyone in your irc channel an MSCE?


Just because your in an irc channel with people who run the channel, doesnt make them MSCE's or yourself for that matter.

Do they run a computer business of any sort? No?


Yes they DO send out betas to MSCE's and businesses. Its called promotion and with beta testing they can also iron out bugs.


Why shops? They have alot of hardware available to beta test the products correctly, unlike the individual end-user who on average only have 1 PC (some have more). So as you can see this is why they love Shops and Stores, and yes they do send them out, unless your not MCSE they wont be interested.


See when you pass your MSCE, you get the silly MS folder for discs, and they ask if you wish to participate in future beta testing, after all to get the MSCE your qualified enough to beta test.


Again this is a PUBLIC forum, whatever you post is subject to peoples replies and comments, you dont want people to butt into your posts, then use the PM system. Or stay in IRC and use /msg

@DABhand: Thanks for trying to defend me but there's no point in "winning" an argument only by saying "I'm a moderator so, by definition, I'm right" - even if forum rule #11 says exactly so, although, obviously, in a very different context... That would be using power instead of intelligence, which is disgusting; see politics for a "good" example!

@jhuk: As the current situation on this planet is, people DO NEED TO LEARN ENGLISH. Most software, including games, is in English; most Web pages are in English. So, what do you expect if you don't understand/speak English and try to use an international forum that called your attention to the fact, in the forum rules already, that it's in English only?

On the other hand, I always try to use simple English (partly because I'm too lazy to look up complicated words in a dictionary ) in my documentations. If you think the language of the FAQ is too complicated (I think not, but that's only one opinion), feel free to contact me (in E-mail, the FAQ is way too big for a PM!) with a simplified version of it. You dont know anything about me or peeps in the channel and MSCE means nothing any monkey can pass it (actually lots are far higher skilled than you or me will ever be, and Longhorn/Vista wasnt beta at the time you claimed you got copied sent, im sick your crap and your lies so get of my case, after all it all started with me trying to answer someones questions, even if they have been answered 100x before.

Fact is i know how MS work for internal alphas, then betas some get accepted for after signing up then public betas.

See this is what I see about it, your in a channel, maybe op maybe halfop maybe voice, I dunno or care. But you think since your in this beta channel that you know everything.


Why would MS just give beta's and alpha's to staff? In a way that is what your saying, if the beta or alpha was leaked online, the serial would be traced back to them and they lose their lucrative salary.


I can easily go into any network, and make a channel. Doesnt make me fantastically amazing or know everything does it.


I admit I dont know everything, neither does everyone else, Im not the greatest at PHP, Delphi, Car Mechanic, Chef, Astronaut.


But here is what has happened, from NFS:MW thread about the patch, I never once pointed at anyone, I made a statement about a file if taken from original game to make the other that type was illegal. You took it the wrong way and started spouting off like a 5yo girl.

If I get banned again, like with Glenbo, for this post, then so be it. At the end of the day im not the one who looks the idiot. Ive told you about betas etc, they do get sent out, that is fact. If they didnt want people outside MS to beta test they wouldnt let the x64 version out would they?


And if you search the MS site well, you will find information about how to become a beta tester. Like most software houses.

Little addmendum


Ill quote what ive said before in other threads.

I am tri-booting, between XP Pro, Vista Beta and 64x Trial.

And the 64x is in working order, the trial is for people to report on any bugs they find before release early 2006.

AFAIK Vista will incorporate both 32 and 64 bit editions.

Ive tried a beta they sent me, I own a shop and im a MSCE so I get software from them.

And Alcohol and Daemon installed not a problem for me.

Daemon 4 should be out soon, so that will work with 64 bit editions anyways, and Alcohol is due a release soon also with 64 bit support.

Your not missing anything really.

This is all I said about microsoft vista and the word beta, now if you use search and look for Alpha and my username, its only in this thread. So where did I say I have the alpha?
