PS2 Media types for V7 and V9/10

What mod chip what Version PS2

Early Early modchips didnt support DVD 9 , + media, but As chips progressed
they made it possible even for the old Ps2's to play all formats. But the best media to allways use is - because this is the type that sony originaly used designed the ps2 to play, My type philips, byfar my opinion the best, memorex 2nd,
