Its way more than enough.
I dont understand why some people have to use compatibility mode and others like myself dont. When you enable all emulation options in Daemon Tools did you close Daemon Tools and all other emulation software, for example SD4hide, Sr7Stop, Anti-Blaxx? And when you close Daemon Tools from the taskbar did you leave emulation options on when asked? |

yes, i did. its not working at all! i left the options on, but it doesnt work. when i dont enable the compatibility mode, then the game does not start and i get a message which says "A required security module can't be activated.The program can not be executed"

@DabHand-
Its because of the chipset drivers. Some ATI & Nforce chipset drivers (My ATI included) seem to bust copy prots- I can run any SF game simply mounted, and Securom only requires me to disable the physical CDs via device manager. -Leezer- |

I dont think it can all be because of Chipset drivers.
I have a VIA KT600 (socket A) mobo, nothing like the nForce ones commonly credited with being immune to various copy protections, and have never needed compatibility mode to defeat CPs. On the other hand, before my last reinstall I didnt need SD4Hide to run NFS:MW, and yet now I do (no hardware change at all) I also run with standard windows IDE drivers for sfcure, so it seems unlikely perculiaritys in my IDE controller are stopping me from needing Compatibility mode (and yes I have played Matrix:PON on it, I dont have it but a friend of mine does and lent it to me a while back) |

As far as I've been able to tell (Been following this at the DT forums as well as here), it only affects certain versions of the chipset drivers, and I suspect you also need the IDE drivers as well.
Its probably a bug in specific versions of these drivers- I would imagine you simply downloaded the latest version off the website, as opposed to an older version before format? Cheers -Leezer- |

So the protections look at mobo drivers as emulation/hiding programs.
Thats weird btw |
