ya its weird.. i believe that there firmware allows for homebrew but not backups.. i even found with their firmware it was difficult and took a long time to read even oringals..
Check out ps2-scene.com for the hacked firmware.. i dont think i have it on my pute anymore!

Bloody hell it works thanks very much lads top notch as always thanks for the quick replys , the f**king time ive wasted on these 2 slim-lines
 .Some instructions would of been nice with these chips lol  .Can't believe the fella who sells pre modded consoles and stacks of different chips didn't know about this its a strange world we live in init. Thanks again lads Gaz
