First of all: In Germany EULAs are not relevant. The only relevant thing is the german written law.

Second: Nobody can play the game on my computer at home, because the DVD is in a closed cabinet.

Third: I can phone my brother, to deinstall Fahrenheit on my computer at home. Then there is really no problem with the law.

But: The problems with MY backup of MY original bought DVD are not away!

And, there is the great chance, that in future I will change my computer. I don not want, that in future I have the same problems with a new computer.

So, I ask to all here, who have no problems to help a person, who has problems with the backup of their own bought(!) DVD: What can be the answer to my problem?

And that computer must be the holder of the original Disc!
Ah, can you tell who is talking such a ****? I install the backup of my original to play the game by myself, but this schould not be allowed to do on an computer which is not my own? Really not.

You will not get any help from here as we do not support Warez or Piracy!
Are you really able to say to me, that problems with MY backup of MY original are a question of Warez oder Piracy!?!?

Ok, firstly lets break this down!

Quote:
i have some problems: I bouhgt Fahrenheit, it works fine. Then I made an backup and use TetrisEmu. Everything fine.
You say you bought Fahrenheit, NOT your friend!
You also say you made a backup, you use TetrisEmu and everything works fine!
So why the need to test it on your friends computer? There is no need! You know it already works!
So what you are actually trying to do is come up with some lame excuse for us to help you install 'your' game onto someone else's computer so they can play it for free!
So regardless of what the EULA laws are in Germany you are still trying to supply your friend with a free game! True?

No!

As I said:

Now I am for some days not at home, I live for some days at a friend. But I want to play Fahrenheit and I want to show the game to my friend.
So, there are two reasons for my question here:

1) I am not at home, but I want to play the game! When my friend decides to play the game too, he really has the money to buy it for some Euros at ebay. But in the moment, I want to play the game! And - of course - I want to show the game to my friend. This is not forbidden, or?

2) When the game or TetrisEmu does not work on the computer of my friend, there is a great chance that it will not work on a new computer of mine (as I said, I want to by a new one in the next future). That is something I would not be happy about. So I try to understand why it does not work at the computer of my friend.

If you were having problems installing the original Disc onto your computer I would tell you to contact the games Tech Support. They would try to help you as it is the original disc.
Now, you contact Tech Support and tell them you are trying to install a 'backup' of the game onto 'your friends' computer and let me know what they tell you!?
I think you may find the response they give you will be very similiar to the response I have given you!
To help you with your problem, one of the first questions I would normally ask you is "Does it work when trying to install from the 'original' disc?"
Now as you say you are at your friends house 'without' your original disc, you wont be able to answer me on that one!
See your problem is it may not even work on your friends computer when using the original disc?
So, once you have contacted the games Tech Support please let me know what they told you the problem was. But I am guessing, they will tell you to "install it from the original Disc and not from a copy!"

I suggest, they would give the same answer, they would give if any of the other questions, which are discussed here in the forum, are asked to them. So what!?

Now, my brother brought the original to me: It does not work, too! :-(

I will have great pleasure in giving you this answer!
We are not the official support forum! If you are having problems with the original game then contact the games technical support!

It is everytime a great pleasure to me to make other people happy!

But in this case I have some bad news for your pleasure:

1) the original and the backup work at home
2) I found a solution to the problem with the original:

After installing Patch 1.1 the game does not chrash at the very beginning. First I see the little black Window "DX9 QDT ..." an then fullscreen "Atari"

But then, when the nvidia logo would be seen, Fahrenheit chrashes.

Solution: fast click of esc to break the sequenz.

Then I go into the normal menu. Then make a new game, the intro begins and after that I can play.

Where is the problem? With tetris-driver an the backup I can break the first sequenze as well. But when I start the game, it chrashes meanwhile the intro.

So, there is still a problem with the backup and tetris. :-(
