No it can't....that's a limitation so far. Anything that runs in the PSP's kernal memory or whatever can't be run at this time. However the downgrade from 2.0 to 1.5 isn't a very difficult process. I've been back and forth from 1.5 to 2.0 a couple times but I like to keep it on 2.0 for the browser and GTA. I'll worry about running Fast Loader .7 when they figure out better methods.
To all PSP users....don't upgrade past 2.0 (example 2.1 or 2.5) or you will AT THIS TIME have no way to play emulators/homebrew or downgrade on your PSP's.

i hear ya...i dont have GTA ..so having my firmware at 2.0 isnt a convenience for me..for now im happy with my 1.5. ill just wait till maybe they can fun kernel apps on the 2.0 firmware

I was the same way, I put off upgrading until I had to. However now that I own GTA it's almost a no brainer what firmware I was going to use. Especially now that I can play Mario on 2.0.

do u have to use another version of the snes9x emulator to run on the 2.0 version ?
