DABhand, I think youre missunderstanding me (or maybe I'm missunderstanding you).

The thing is "someone" wants a No-CD/No-DvD crack/patch. Since we're talking of a game that runs in a whole DvD (at least 3.7Gb I think), there is no possible way of using a No-CD/DvD without an image, since the installation doesnt copy all the needed files.

In cases when the game is so big you need files from the CD/DVD to be able to run without the CD/DVD, you have two options:
- Copy the folders/files to the installation directory (this requires many free space) and use a crack/patch (not available atm for UFO:Aftershock)
- Do a image/mini image in a .mds format (to avoid StarForce), use emulation and run the game.

So, I'm just saying if he wants to run the game without the DVD he should have the DVD image to be able to run it without problems. I'm not telling anyone to download the ***.mds image from whatever web/P2P or whatever.

Still if the user had asked me how to do it, or how to get the image, I would had tell em how to do the image via Alcohol.

Excuse me if I dont follow your point, but I dont think I'm talking about warez or things like that. I just want to share the info I used to run my copy with no DVD.
