1) The more obvious method, and several users confirmed this to me. You just need to REBOOT after applying the patch. I know its dumb, but maybe you forgot to.

2) Before you patch the game, copy/backup the file MATRIX3W325.BIN. Then update the game and then overwrite the newer MATRIX3W325.BIN with the older file you previously backed up.

Try it and let me know.
1) Rebooting doesn't do anything.

2) Keeping that file does let you keep playing the game after you've patched it, but it seems that that file is the biggest change of the patch, as the game runs exactly the same as before the patch (still have textures turning white, black characters, framerate issues, etc) and the game still won't save control configs etc. etc. etc.

The old file is like 6 megs and the new one is 8 megs, so that's where a lot of the changes are kept. If you replace that file you might as well not even patch in the first place.

The file seems to be the one taking care of the virtual emulation protection, so that is what I suggested that.

Also, if you want your settings to get changed, its simple, locate the matrixconfig.ini file, right-click it and un-tick "read only". You'll be all set.

Could someone please post the unpatched .bin file because I Really don't want to reinstall my whole original. It took a long time.
You can post it www.yousendit.com... thanks a lot for saving me the hassel.

Plethus: What quality settings are you running it and what is your video card.

Thx man! What you mean still? Is there some solution out?

EDIT: I can confirm that this unpatched bin works with SR7 STOP + Daemon tools mounting (Daemon should be closed after mounting)
