Warlock, as I understand it the crystal chip folks haven't come out with the installation diagrams for v14 so far. I think the chip is compatible with v14 but some more info is reqd before it can be installed on a console. Talked to spedmetal as well about it and he may have more info regarding the same.
In case there's any chip that comes out in the market for modding PS2 v14, I will be the first guy to get my system modded
