I'm not a n00b to copying games but this has me kinda stuck. Till now I've never come across the term "mount" when it comes to copying plus I'm no expert on Daemon so could someone help me out and give me an idea of what to do. to this point I've copied the game to 4CD's with the preconception that a crack would fix the problem but now having searched and checked on further action I'm being asked to install daemon and mount mini images, which I'll admit is alien to me.

Pleasde help me out here.

"To mount" means to bind an image file of a disc into a virtual optical disc drive created by a program like alcohol120, daemontools or equal (whereas these two are the most suggested for use with games)

you install the program, it creates a new disc drive on your pc which is software-based, means you can bind any image file to it and it appears to the computer as a "hardware" optical disc drive with disc inserted. some games have protections against such emulation software, but there are other programs (like anti blaxx) that hide the emulation software so that it can be used again for games that have such protection, lets name total overdose for example.

i for my case can say i do not need any special **** to play b&w2 without disc, works by simply mounting it into daemon, no problems although i read somewhere anti blaxx would be needed.

Your advice was helpful, but I'm affraid it wasn't conclusive. From start to finish I burnt the img files to 4 CD's using Alcohol. I installed daemon tools, once daemons tools was running I selected emulation and ticked safedisc. Tried to run, failed to work. I just installed anti-blaxx and set the following settings. tried to run and failed to work again. Am I missing something fundamental here?
