nana, i live in austria, and the game was released yesterday, german version + uk version - guess which i bought so there was no shipping, and the price, uh, yeh, its kinda sick to spend so much money on a game, but on the other hand, let me tell you, the developers of it really deserve a descent remuneration, thrillfactor = totally sick (but your bose headphones on, turn off lights and die of fear rofl )

buuuuuuuut whaaaatabooooooout the craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack when i copy the game to hd (iso) and run alcohol or daemons the game gives an error telling "emulator detected, please turn off and blabla make sure correct disc is inserted blabla.."

http://www.whatisfear.com/us/
Or here?
(HINT: Publishers official shop, UK!!)
http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/vivendi/p...ctcode=RM01463

The same on the German front, cannot find it on your shop.

I bought F.E.A.R. yesterday and I live in the US. The store I went to had about 30 copies out on the store shelves.

Wel my good sir......fear has a blacklisting on the disk meaning(correct me if im wrong) that it detects your dvd the first time you instal an puts it on a list of used dvd's that are installed...then you copy it..and it sees it has been used...so thats why you get that message....

We at jedi try to make a blacklist crack for this game

uhm, that sux... so did i get it right? it could possibly work if you disable autostart (to make sure nothing enters the registry, or a dump file comes to hd in which information about the drives could be stored), then copy it to hd, put it in the emulator, install it and run it? but i guess uninstalling the game will still leave a tiny little bit of information on your hd... however, you guys gonna manage creating a crack, so i just have to wait anyway thanks for the analysis and for spending time on that matter,

faithfully + cheers, illphil
