I don't know what the best soft for this is, but for simple and plain conversions I really like the alive converter.

If you mean itunes protected files you should get tunebite or jhymn (but afaik it doesn't work with the latest version). If yiu have unprotected wma material, e.g. the alive converter will do (but there are dozens of converters, just google for them).
