Not sure what's going on with the graphics bugs and savegames Monty? What type of graphics bugs are you getting?
The ideal thing would be to uninstall EVERYTHING and reinstall from scratch, install the 1.10 patch and NoCD and play again and see if it re-occurs! I would update video drivers only if the graphics bugs are still there just to see. I'm running with an ATI X850 XT and CAT 5.9 and not seen any graphic bugs yet, only played through the tutorial though! Also download and run SFCLEAN.EXE to get rid of any Starforce crap! The 2 files I sent to GCW are from the OFFICIAL Win64 bit patch, they are 100% genuine and not modified in anyway, they are the only files that get installed with the patch anyway. If you want to check, just find a util called HWUN and unpack the Win64 bit patch, then compare the 2 files with those from GCW, they should be identical! Could you try your savegames on someone elses machine? It would help to see if the same graphic problems happen on the German Mission 04. |

So if I understand correctly the 64-bit mod exe also works with a 32 bit system

Yes!
The Win64 patch just contains 32bit unprotected EXE's. In fact, it doesn't say which version of the game it works with but I think it's for the v1.10 patch because I get a 'Game files are corrupted' error if I use them with the retail game but not with the v1.10 patch installed. |
