I have used a few memory hacks before on many games with numerical values with much success. However I can only use values with no commas like 72500. If I use 72,500 I cannot get any returns from Tsearch. I have tried the values in FIFA 2006 without commas, first scan brings about 1500 results, but after the second scan of memory It comes back with a big fat zero. The same thing happens if I use commas, but I don't know if TSearch supports commas or if they are relevent. Can someone figure this out? Why cant I get results from FIFA 2006? Do I need to use the Unknown value option?

You cant use commas at all. The game coding shows the comma.
Try 4byte search if you can find with that (do also remember each time you play a game etc the address may change) If failed 4byte then try Float. |

Thanks for taking the time DABhand. Didn't think I would get a reply so quickly, or even at all.
I have tried 2 Byte and 4 Byte, with the same thing happening and coming to zero on the second scan.( Iwould have thought I would get a few results from the scan at least. I will try the float, but it takes ages to tell it wether its decreasing or increasing. It's a P.I.T.A!!! Thanks anyway, taking time to help others.

There is one option left, find unknown value, then increase or decrease or unchanged searches..
It could be the points is an encoded value so.. 10000 may not be 10000 in the game. |

Having looked at a few webpages and forums on memory editing and trainers I found one where they say there are game developers who purposely encode or encrypt the values so that they cannot be hacked. Most of the people on the forum hated the idea of the developers doing this, and some seemed quite talented at programming and general hacking/reverse engineering on software. (before you ask, it wasn't a hacking group. Totally legit sites only)
My opinion for FIFA 2006... definately encoded memory values. Thanks again DABhand, you were right on the money!

If its using the new SDAPI feature provided by safedisc, then yes, those values are encrypted. And since the last couple of games by EA are all SDAPI protected, then I think its a safe bet to say this
one is also protected by it. |
