Xbox live and Mod Chip - need to reset Xbox

could anyone tell me if i can switch my ntsc xbox to pal? i bought it for my husband when i was in singapore and didnt realise we wouldnt be able to play games bought in the uk (DOH!!). if i get it chipped would this solve the problem or do i need it chipped and then use a 'video mode select cd'? i'd be grateful if anyone could shed any light on this for me. cheers!

You will have to get a chip in it in order to be able to run the Videmode Switchdisc. So get someone to install a chip, install a bios on it and then run the Enigma Videomode Switchdisc.
You will need a chip because Videomode switchdisc is unsigned code and therefore must be run through a hacked BIOS.
