ppl seem to think that because crack groups are not intrested any more that we are done for....not the case atall, there will be 1000 groups in the future..ppl learning the same way those groups did,it is not rocket science, the best thing for crack groups now is to stop competing..and share there knowledge more openly and all will be sweet

nice little dream world you live in glenbo... it is a science, it takes skill, time and dedication and especially now with all the legal changes regarding reverse engineering i really dont think your idea of 1000 groups etc really holds much validity... as for groups sharing information, the precise reason groups dont share information is so that their methods / tricks / whatever aren't circumvented by the next version of the protection... ever wondered why there are very few (if any) public dumper/rebuilders available for removing protection?

lol so you are saying the current groups of crackers are going to be the only crackers ever? no matter difficultys, secrecy there will always be crackers/hackers or anything else to do with the shady world of internet nerds, because kids are becoming more clever year by year, they will sit back in a few years and laugh at our primative @ss's,you guys act like the current crop are the be all and end all. not so,if you believe that then you may aswell give up now. my only point was that they should stop there petty wars with each other and concentrate on there wars with authoritys and gameing protection etc. why have 10 pretty groups when you can have 1 exellent one? why? because people are to competitve and competition causes delay in this respect.
so no im not in a dream world,im in reality, meet me there when you find it.

Ever tried to reverse a decent protection in a serious way? When done and having a nice "generic tool" (if possible) coded you really like to use it for a while instead of doing the whole session over again...it not getting easier and as I've pointed out a number of times before: The more info you give to the "public" the sooner the company get their dirty little hands on it and...yeah...expect a "update patch" coming out real soon...try your tool then...oh no! It's not working anymore! It can't do shít! All your unpacking/import fixing/API-stuff/rebuilding routines are worthless and you're back to day 1 again That's why ppl should learn the stuff from the basics, not put all their hopes in "automatic unwrappers" and the groups.

Nuff said

no, what im saying is that there will be less crackers now who will release things publically because of the current changes in the law... would you be willing to risk losing all your kit and spending up to 3+ years in prison, as well as having to pay legal fees for your defence, and being sued by the bsa and so on just to release a crack so that the public can benefit from it? its far far too risky, think about it a little, look at the history of what happened over the years with the busts etc and now ask yourself why there are less cracks now than before

well maybe but that is moving the subject more on to piracy and warez users/creators rather than making a nocd patch which as this site states you are legally allowed to use,so if that statement is correct then really your blasts have no substance.

No, that is not the reason. Not at all. Without wanting to say anything bad about crackers or those who already were busted. There will always be ppl who just do it for this thrill of the possibility of getting busted. You know it has to feel damn good as long as you are out there and can think "**** them all i did that crack and they don't have a clue who i am". There will always be ppl who think proxys in US are anonymous and they could distribute their crack through them^^.

But what i think is the problem with "new crackers": it's harder for them to learn. The old crackers for ex. had MS-DOS with debug und text-only output.
They know what text is all about. But now? A kid clicks it colored buttons and sees nice icons everywhere. And then he starts a debugger or a disassembler and what next? TEXT! SHOCK!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! TEXT!!! what the hell is that??? No icons??? No graphics??? RUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!

Alright those are maybe 70%.

And the others have the following problem: They want to crack their games like Splinter Cell CT. But they will have to begin learning with all the old titles from 10 years ago.
And that will take them some years. Then they will start learning Starforce 3 when Starforce 4/5 is already out. And they will never catch up. Because we all say it: Everything is crackable. It just may take a looooooong time.
Yeah but from new protection to another the time increases by a lot! So new crackers can never catch up.

So yeah i think there will only be the ppl who could crack (they don't do it anymore, do they?) and nothing will come after. Cracking is dead. Well you can still crack Shareware done by stupid programmers. But you won't be able to crack games anymore.

---------------------RIP Game Cracking--------------------

Just think about one thing: Some years ago we had 80486 66MHz.
Not enough MHz for copy protection.

Now we have DualCore X2 4800+

First Core 2.400MHz for the Game
Second Core 2.400MHz for the Copy Protection!!!!!!!

So do you really see a chance to beat it? MUAHAHA no. We won!
We are the Game industry and we f****d u all!

just joking

but take the facts and think about them.
Is there really a chance?

how is me saying that you guys saying that what you are doing now is as advanced as our world and our computers are going to get and disagreeing with it a lie?

i think you should maybe re-read my post when you finish pubity.

why do kids when they have nothing constructive to say just make stupid noises and act like idiots?...man maybe you lot are right, maybe the next crop of kids are going to be stupid.

1. Perhaps you should look into the coders section and view all the threads.

2. Competition brings forward quicker releases than without.

3. Your talking pants cause your english.

4. And its Puberty, again P..u..b..e..r..t..y

so you are racist.

young.

stupid.

and you believe that what crackers know now, will never be emulated.

all i can say to you is...**** off kid and grow up.
get some culture little boy.

competition as far as cracks do slow things up as each company try to rush out a release first and by doing so release mini images and fixed exe's instead of nocd cracks to save time, and in the process alot of cracks get forgotten about.

im glad to see racism is tollerated here..i wont be posting any more.

would yu like to know i am also black? want to make a comment about that to?
