I never used GaemonTools. I always use Alcohol 120%.
Also all this AntiBlaxx, SF_Nightmare, ... stuff i never used.

I uninstalled DaemonTools and installed the latest Alcohol 120% using the advanced options, mounted the drive, and got the same BSOD (error 0x000000C4). Then I tried running BF2 with a mini image, that worked as before, no BSOD.

sounds like one of your hardware drivers is not compatible with certain copy protections. Update your chipset drivers. Dont enable all emulations, only the one that the game uses.

sorry i said it wrong a lil bit.i beat the rome :total realism which is lot bigge then rome total war.dont think u need any patch for rome total realism though.what i did was load the image using demon tool and played rome:total realism.

Question

Is it the Rome: Total War [ENGLISH/GERMAN] No-CD/Fixed Image you need to play Rome 1.2?

What kind of protection does Rome use?
