omg, I tried to change disk prompt before to, but it doesn't work!

Now I have new "Hidden & Dangerous 2 .msi" file from network and I have changed volumelabel to DISK1 and diskprompt to nummber 1

Your original msi file is definately damaged then!! Try just changing the Label column of the New msi file you have obviously downloaded and you will find it will also work and that you do not need to change the disc prompt column. I havent changed the disc prompt column and it all works correctly.

EDIT: Hmm yes it could be because it is the czech version, but I doubt it?

Problem was at another place, at first I installed the game from HDD, so in registry was path to HDD and instalation wizard from DVD was searching there the label of next disk. Instalation works after I deleted this registry entry.

Soubor _CC0144ADD********************* nemuze byt nainstalovan, protoze instalacri soubor Data1.cab nebyl nalezen. To muze znamenat chybu site, chybu cteni z disku CD-ROM nebo potize s timto balickem.

Now I am guessing it is saying it cannot find Data1.cab and to make sure the CD-Rom is in the drive etc?

I tried installing the game using your MSI file! I copied your MSI onto a DVD with my files from my version of the game. Your MSI is 16170KB mine is 15877KB so there is a size difference there! So your MSI wont work with my files so unfortunately I cannot test this further for you but I know for my version there is no need to edit the Disk Prompt column.

Ahh so you were trying to install the game from the HDD and not from a DVD?
Did you try it from a DVD without changing the Disk Prompt column? I would like to know if your czech version works the same as mine? If it does not then i will add more info to the conversion for the czech users.
Sometimes games will work from the HDD and sometimes they will not! The best test method is to burn to a DVD-RW, that is the only sure way of knowing if the conversion is going to be successful or not.

because czech install msi file is another then english ;-) I downloaded english msi and I had the same problem ;-)

So you do now have it working from the DVD correctly 'without' changing the "Disk Prompt" column in the MSI? Please let me know as I want to change the conversion readme if it needs to be changed for the czech users.

Only volume label need to be changed to DISK1 and the game has to be installed only from DVD or CD not from hdd otherwise install process won't be successful no more

(then only helped when registry entry from installator are deleted)
