My guess is that the fixed .exe is for version 1.60 with First Alpha installed and that version only.
Because, if I am not totally mistaken of course, version 1.60 is an update that is supplied with Fist Alpha... or?

I think you may find its 'Fist' Alpha, not 'First' Alpha.
