With "StarForce 3.50.XXX.XXX" waiting for a crack is hopeless! Same **** as with "Codename Panzers - Phase Two". For that game also exists no crack or image or anything like that. "StarForce 3" sucks!

Different Starforce Version

Hi there.

I did not compare the Starforce Versions of Worms 4 - Mayhem and Panzers Phase Two.

But they MUST differ, because both of them are on DVD - but Panzers Phase Two can still be cheated with the USB-Trick (tried it myself and it works, used SFN as IDE-Drive-Disabler).
But Worms Mayhems´ Starforce seems to detect the tricks used by SFN/Star*ucker because even the original disc asks to be insert in an other drive (2 optical @ raid, 1 optical @ usb, 1 optical @ ide - deactivated by sfn).

Maybe someone could test if the usb-trick still works with unplugged ide-drives or maybe sata-drives. (toooooooo lazy for that / no sata-optical available present here)

The Usb-trick still works with Worms 4 Mayhem, but you first have to remove the power-cable of your internal dvd-drives. With Star**** you cant hide your internal IDE-drives anymore, but you should still use it to disable node. Hope this information helps some of you.

Also ich hab schon mal die protect.dll von der demo genommen und es ist
nichts passiert coppyschutz is immer noch da.
die abfrage für starforce is die launcher.exe.
habe die launcher.exe von der multiplayerdemo in die full kopiert und hatte dann die fullversion als demo lolll.

gruss Ultra2k !!

Translation by MOD:
I have copied the PROTECT.DLL from the Demo, but the copy protection is still there.
The Protection is in the LAUNCHER.EXE, so i tried the LAUNCHER.EXE from the MultiPlayerDEMO.
Now i have changed my full game to a DEMO. lol

Greets Ultra2k !!

Sorry 4 bumping...

Just adding: Yes, can confirm that Worms 4 Mayhem works with the USb-Method as long as no optical drives are @ primary or secondary onboard ide available (unplugged!).

Disabling something with any of the software-"unplug"-tools is not needed. But Daemon/Alcohol with active RMPS-Emulation are still required!

Thx 4 ur attention.

would using a virtual operating system on your coputer, like microsoft virtual pc 2004 and some how not telling it thier is a drive, make it work so i don't have to open it. this is just an idea, that has probobly been already tested, i was wondering if it works?
