Now i've checked my BF2-manual. My GeForce 6800 LE also isn't listed.
Battlefield 2 works fine for me. But i'm not a very good player... only 198 points after 3,5 hours of playing. A friend of me (Mastermind26) has already 10600 points and is promoted to corporal. For all who want to "kill" me, my playername is "GodanLiHar".
