battlefield 2 blood patch

i tried out this blood patch but i can't get it to work in the online game without getting the wrong version or modified content error. there any why to hide it or modify it so it will work in multiplayer? works great in single player and it would be nice to see blood instead of that dirt looking cloud when i shoot someone.

It doesn't matter how or why the executable is hacked. A hacked executable is usually for online cheating, which is one of the most disgusting things known to man, therefore it is avoided at all costs. No, you can't play online with any hacked executable.

dude, the blood patch works fine just not on ranked servers i guess because they check if any of the game files have been modified ex. blood patch hence the error. i didn't say anything about a modified exe and my copy is 420% legal . the blood patch isn't an exe at all it adds a small gcf file "zip" and modifies a config file to call it up in the game. now all i want to know is is there way to get this to work on ranked servers? if not im just gonna keep playing bf2 enhanced edition to quinch my thirst for blood.

I don't think this would be possible unless the publisher itself adds the blood patch in an official update. The content check on some servers is to filter out hacking (for any reason). What the particular hacking, a player is using, is for does not matter.

so i guess i gotta wait for a good mod to come out before i can enjoy some blood action.
