thnkx for post, checked the fan all ok, tho' much quieter than our v4 and v7 PS2s! (He has no hard drive in his console either). Been checking some other threads and the pink colours may be caused by dirty leads or not plug in securely enough! Not sure about other probs tho', I'm going to ask him to bring his discs round (I have his console) as most of my discs seem ok in his machine. Ta all!
