if you want to burn CDI images using Nero, just try CDI2NERO.exe with the original .CDI file you've.

Don't extract all the files to rebuild the image. Just convert the original .CDI to .NRG using CDI2NERO

Also, you can try loading the .CDI using Daemon Tools and then just do a CD-to-CD copy in Nero. (source drive: virtual drive; destination drive: your burner)

The socond option is better because cdi2nero is not a perfect tool... and one more: u must use Nero 5.5.9.X or 5.5.10.X (not the 6 series one) and burn using DAO96.

Are you absolutely positive Nero 6 won't work? Because I burned my other self-booting discs (DreamSNES and Beats of Rage) with it and had no problems. I simply created track-at-once .nrg's and then burned them disc-at-once.

I ask because I own a full version of Nero 6 and was hoping I could avoid downloading/buying any more cd burning software that I don't really need.

And since neither of you mentioned it, am I correct in assuming it does not matter that there is no IP.BIN in the image?

Thanks for the advice.

I would have used cdi2nero, but from what I understand Nero 6 requires cdi2tao and when I tried to use cdi2tao by its self (not apart of SelfBoot), I encountered an error ("Unsuppported image version").

I will however try the cd-to-cd method using Daemon.
