Medieval: Total War - Install CD HELP!

Hi I recently tried to reinstall My copy of Medieval on My PC after I took it off about a year ago and at about 78% through the installation the setup keeps crashing, It's says there is an error with the file EuroTension.wav then it closes the installation. The first 50% (CD 1) Works fine but the one file , that I don't really feel is that important, causes the setup to crash. What can I dO?

I dont thing there's a solution to that prob other than :
1. Get a new one
2. Get a friends to finish the installation
3. Search for the closest pira...

And of course you could try cleaning it with a soft piece of cloth !!

Sorry !

Rangewolf, create a new directory on your hard disk and copy the complete contents of each CD there. If you get an error message, read it and note down which file was being copied when you got the error message. Then you'll know which file is damaged and how.

There is a lot of information on the Web on how to salvage physically damaged CD's, e.g. with toothpaste and soft cloth. There are even small machines, looking like a discman, that do this for you. Also, you can contact the publisher for a replacement CD. Good luck,
