Mp4

Anyone here have an Mp4 player? I've seen them in stores but I have never known anyone who owns one.

I was in the market for one a few months back, reguardless of the fact that I was more broke than a fat kid after a candy convention.

But anyway I was researching the hell out of em.. And each one had too many problems.. Either the menus were badly designed... The transfer times were sickening long.. The encoding had to be done to fit a specific resolution due to the player being unable to resize the video. The glare of the screen was bad.. The screen had broken pixels.. The sound was horrible.. The hard drive wasn't big enough.. The screen wasn't big enough.. The list went on and on.

Just when I thought I was starting to see a good one it'd get knocked down and bashed in the next review.. I looked at quite a few of the higher end ones and didn't find anything that I was comfortable enough to invest quite a few dollars into..

The Archos AV700 PMP showed promise though.. With a huge screen.. Bigger than most on the market.. Anyway I've got a candy convention to go to.. I suggest you dig through the bowels of hell for info on one before you swallow the bullet and buy one...
