this is wut i did to fix it.

copy dvd onto the hard drive. (example D:\GTA SA\)

install from drive to location u like

rename gta sa.exe to gta sa.exebak(so u dont lose original)

extract cracked gta sa.exe into installed folder

and there u go. worked for me.
try this and see if it works. u cant use the virtual drive. extract the files into a folder then instal from there. should work

did u try doing a custom instal and make sure to install the extra audio files?

if not try that.

lol, your welcome, I actually posted that advice by mistake! I accidently opened up the first page of this post instead of the last, so I was actually answering the last post on the first page. lol
Therefore once I realized my error I deleted my post. It was only up for a coulple of seconds. Hmmm, now I wonder, do I leave people guessing as to what we are talking about?
The advice I gave was only about how I back up the original game files before overwriting them with the cracked ones.

Yeah we get confused sometimes grumpy. It still worked. I backup up my orig .exe file. I fixed the sound too!! Woo hoo! soemone earlier in this thread requested to go to run and enter "dxdiag" and change sound to basic and it worked! About time! I miss this game! Thanks guys! anyone else who has problems should cointact me I think Ive fgured it all out!
