I was meaning the other way around, them trying to get from a 56k user.

Say it was someone on a P2P progy, for arguments sake say Morpheus.

They look for one hard to song to get, and only one person has it, tis on a 56k guy.

They wont get it, cause its 56k and they dont want to wait long times to get it.

So they wait even longer till someone quick has it lol

The time they waited for that, they could have received it from the 56k guy.


People noticed this, and then you get the cheats, who put themselves on as a 56k but have a 8mb line or something, so he wont have to upload to people so his download speed is maxed rather than limited because of something uploading.

Yep the wonderful world of Broadband Kiddies, steal what you can, and rape the other broadband kiddies lol

its amazing the kids dont realise that with broadband, they do have the ability to just sit and wait for the file to download.

it sucks, kids who have better net than me, and just don't use it to its full potential.

Going after kids for a scare tactic against other users is barbaric and immoral. This is the cold war of the internet. One side moves after the other, heavier laws more p2p networks. It's an arms race. Personally I like the idea of compitition, I just wish the government could pave the roads, feed the homeless, fix social security and our health care system before they raid my house because I didn't want to buy the whole White Stripes cd when 95% of it sucked. Hollywood can eat me. Most movies now suck anyhow, I got tired of walking out of them and demanding my money back years ago. Besides, if the movie was good enough they most likely made their money back by the second week. The rich will always protect their greatest interest, getting more money. Example, those Live 8 artist, think they did that concert to save Africa? Is Africa gonna be saved by rock shows? Lets get Bono to save the Middle East then. They just wanted the attention. People in power generally abuse that power to force their opinion on others. And who better to pick on than a 12 year old girl.
