Exclamation Upgraded HDD, now some games won't play

I modded my xBox with a Xenium SP.Ice chip and then I upgraded my HDD and now several games will no longer play. I am using avalaunch and also EvoX, but neither of them will launch the games. When I put my original HDD back in, the games will run. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or is there a bios that will allow these games to run again?

You could either do a complete backup of your original Xbox drive, to your PC, then dump the backup to the new drive ..

But it is proberbly quicker to just start fresh, and reinstall your original titles on to the new drive ...

I doubt the chip has any connection to the games not working with the new drive..

What actual problems are you having ??

Two things to try.

First, set the clock to the correct time and date. Sounds silly but it does matter.

Second, clear all the cache . They can be found in E: in the cache folder and in the X: Y: and Z: folders. Make sure you don't delete the actual folders, just the contents of the folders.

If you still run into problems after doing that, then find the games saves for the particular games you are having problems with. They might be corrupt and need to be either replaced with the good files from your original hard drive, or just deleted to get rid of them.

Of course the easiest way to do the above with a Xenium is to use the cache clearing tool from the hard drive tools menu in the Xenium OS. That is of course assuming you are using the latest 2.3.0 OS. If not the chache clearing tool will not be listed.

Thanks, Jailer! That was the trick, clearing the cache, I mean... I should've thought about that before. I knew reformatting and copying the original HDD again wouldn't help, because I already had a good copy of the original HDD.

Cheers!
