He means an image from a HD on a USB connection.
But SATA hard drives work also

Well I created a total dump with blindwrite and then tried to mount that image from a usb harddrive, the strange thing which starforce did was that it asked me for a serial key, strange is that this version of Lockon Flaming cliffs comes without a serial key. So maybe the blindwrite dumping wasn't good enough. i'll try the alcohol 120 tonight and will report back my findings.

without serial key = starforce keyless, the keys just stored on the cd in sector 16, game reads it from there, saving you from having to type it in..
