Hi guys,

The Inspire crash fix is fine. If you don't know how to use it, read the NFO file! Happy gaming,

Joe

I tried it and it still crashed. Did I do something wrong?

my path to save games was C:\\GTA San Andreas User Files

I used the patch on the hoodlum exe it gave and my game still crashes on booting the game

Sounds like you should play the game without any cracks for a few days and post back the results.

Yes , but there's not a C:\\Documents and Settings\\Gtasasav on my machine...

I tried also to create it, but the result is the same...still crash!

Hi Probosk, please, be patient until my savegame dir patch is uploaded to GCW. Perhaps, it works better than the Inspire crash fix...? dunno...

Hi Probosk,

You can read about the - probable - reason for the crash in another forum, whose link has been added to some of these threads. (Do some search.)

As for my savegame dir patch, it has been created independently of this crash problem: I simply don't like games puking their config files and savegames into my user's home directory (which I don't want to bother with) so I redirect those files to the game installation directory instead, by hacking the game a little bit.
