If your TV is PAL and you live in the UK, then according to previous posts by DAL, the BLAZE scart lead for PS2 solves the problem. I solved the problem (because my PS2 is further than a scart lead's distance away from the TV) by buying a NTSC to PAL convertor (at both AV and RF level). The PS2 puts out NTSC if the game is NTSC, PAL if the game is PAL.

You could also get into the patching zone for taking a game from NTSC to PAL - I wouldn't bother. But then some of the Forum members (probably on the hacker's principle of paying for practically nothing) even crack the all-vital copying software and then wonder why they burn coasters!
